Adabraka Polyclinic Hosts “Dawg the Red” Outreach at Kinbu SHS to Promote Mental Health and Wellness

In a bid to raise awareness about mental health and related health conditions, the Adabraka Polyclinic organized an outreach event dubbed “Dawg the Red” as part of the ongoing Purple Month campaign. The initiative, held at Kinbu Senior High School, focused on educating students about the dangers of substance abuse and equipping them with practical tools to manage common mental health challenges.
The event also featured free health screenings for teaching and non-teaching staff, including support personnel. These screenings targeted key health concerns such as hypertension, diabetes, and obesity, aligning with the global observance of World Hypertension Day.
Organizers say the outreach aimed to foster a culture of preventive health and mental well-being among young people and educators alike.
