African Vaccination Week 2025 kicks off today, running from April 24 to 30, under the theme “Vaccination for All is Humanly Possible.” This year’s campaign reinforces a powerful message: no one should be left behind when it comes to life-saving vaccines.

The week-long observance, part of a continent-wide initiative, aims to highlight the critical role of vaccines in protecting individuals and communities against preventable diseases. Health officials and partners across Africa are using the platform to raise awareness, promote routine immunization, and reach underserved populations.

"Every shot counts toward a healthier future," organizers emphasized, calling on families, caregivers, and community leaders to support immunization efforts.

With hashtags like #AVW2025, #VaccinateToProtect, and #VaccinationSavesLives gaining momentum online, the campaign is also engaging the public on digital platforms to spread the word and encourage action.

As countries ramp up outreach activities, the call to protect every child and adult through vaccination remains stronger than ever.
