Anum Apapam Community Celebrates World Menstrual Hygiene Day with Health Outreach and Support

The Anum Apapam Community Center came alive in celebration of World Menstrual Hygiene Day, marked by a vibrant event focused on empowering women, promoting health, and breaking the silence around menstrual hygiene.
The event, held in the heart of the Ayensuano District, featured the distribution of sanitary pads to all attendees, generously provided by Soft Care. Their support ensured that many women and girls had access to essential menstrual products, a key step in promoting dignity and well-being.
In addition, Ark Development Organisation offered free health screenings for diabetes and blood pressure, providing vital health services to members of the community.
The celebration served as both a health outreach and an advocacy platform, emphasizing the importance of menstrual health and access to care. Organizers and partners pledged continued commitment to addressing menstrual health challenges and supporting community wellness.
