The Minister for Minister for Health, Hon. Kwaku Agyeman-Manu (MP) received the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Ghana, His Excellency Mr. Lu Kun and officials of the Chinese Embassy in Ghana, on Thursday, January 19, 2023. The meeting which took place at the Ministry was meant to discuss happenings in the Health Sector.

Welcoming the Ambassador, Hon. Agyeman-Manu thanked H.E. Kun for the visit and acknowledged the Chinese Government’s support over the years. The Minister gave an overview of Ghana’s Health Sector as well as initiatives the Government is currently implementing to ensure that Ghana has a modern, efficient, and financially sustainable Health Sector.

The Ambassador on his part thanked the Minister for the warm reception and hoped for future dialogue.

Present at the meeting were officials from the Chinese Embassy in Ghana, the Ministry for Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration and the Ministry of Health.
