As the nation marks National Labour Day, the Gomoa East District Health Directorate has extended heartfelt appreciation to its dedicated health professionals for their unwavering service to the community.

In a message celebrating the occasion, the Directorate praised health workers across the district for their tireless dedication, selfless service, and continuous commitment to improving healthcare delivery. From hospital staff to CHPS compound workers, and from maternity homes to pharmacies, every contributor in the health sector was recognized for their critical role.

"Your relentless efforts, from early morning rounds to late-night emergencies, do not go unnoticed," the statement read. "You are the true heroes of our healthcare system, sacrificing daily to ensure the well-being of our people."

The Directorate emphasized that the compassion, expertise, and resilience of health workers continue to inspire not only the health sector but the entire Gomoa East community.

"Today, and every day, we celebrate your service. You are the backbone of our district’s healthcare system, and we thank you for your passion and dedication."

This Labour Day, the District joins the rest of the nation in honoring the invaluable contributions of its health workforce.
