The Chief Executive Officer of Korle Bu Teaching Hospital, Dr. Yakubu Seidu Adam, has officially commenced a 15-day familiarization tour of the hospital’s various Departments and Units.

The tour aims to introduce Dr. Adam to staff members and provide a platform for open engagement. It also serves as a valuable opportunity for him to listen, learn, and gain firsthand insight into the operations, achievements, and challenges across the hospital.

Day One of the tour began with visits to the Polyclinic/Family Clinic, the Institute of Clinical Genetics (Sickle Cell Unit), and the Infectious Disease Centre. At each stop, Dr. Adam interacted with healthcare professionals, discussed departmental concerns, and reaffirmed his commitment to improving healthcare delivery at Korle Bu.

The familiarization tour reflects Dr. Adam’s proactive leadership approach and his intention to foster collaboration and transparency throughout the institution.
