The Pharmacy Directorate hosted a heartfelt send-off ceremony in honour of its former Director, Dr. (Mrs) Florence Amah Nkansah, at the Mudor Conference Room of the Bukom Boxing Arena.

The event celebrated Dr. Nkansah’s remarkable career, marking over three decades of service defined by dedicated leadership and excellence. Current Director of Pharmacy, Dr. Charles Ofei-Palm, led the tributes, commending her 33 years of transformative impact and praising her unwavering commitment and inspirational guidance.

Messages from other departmental heads echoed similar sentiments, describing Dr. Nkansah as a diligent, punctual, and optimistic leader. Many gave thanks to God for her accomplishments and celebrated her journey with gratitude and admiration.

In an emotional farewell speech, Dr. Nkansah encouraged staff to remain dedicated and maintain a positive attitude in their professional roles. She expressed her heartfelt appreciation to Dr. Ofei-Palm for his support, and extended gratitude to her colleagues, classmates, and the Pharmacy Department’s surgical and administrative teams for their contributions throughout her tenure.

Calling the occasion “unique,” Dr. Nkansah thanked all who made the ceremony a memorable one, and wished the team continued success in their future endeavors.
