Receiving the donation on behalf of the Ghana Health Service, the Acting Director-General, Prof. Samuel Kaba Akoriyea, expressed his appreciation for the timely support. He emphasized that the resources would significantly strengthen the country’s preparedness and response to the cholera outbreak, boosting healthcare workers' ability to manage cases and prevent further spread of the disease.
The WHO’s donation is part of ongoing efforts to enhance public health interventions in Ghana, which has been grappling with a cholera outbreak in recent months.
